DAILY HABITS
Good Morning ! I have my coffee and a fat bomb ready to go. I just wanted to touch base today on daily habits. I have been learning for many years from some of the best. Last week I slipped in this area and it did not take long to have an effect on me.
So what daily habits I guess you are wondering . I thought I would walk you through my morning habits.
I try to get up at 4:30 a.m. so that I can get to the gym and get my strength training and cardio done before work. I also drink a fat coffee and take my morning supplements.
I get to work and when all is well I have my day planned in my journal. I usually do my work day the same every day. Boring but efficient. I read in one of Brian Tracy’s book it is best to check and answer emails once an hour. I do my best to practice this by only checking emails and social media at the top of every hour.
I get home and tidy up the house or get the chores done that I have written in my daily journal. I try to read and do my bible study as well before bed.
I also pack my gym bag for the next day so my morning is not so rushed.
I am trying to look at my day before bed and record all the things that went well that day, and see what still needs work.
I am also trying to limit my social media time after work. It is a big time waster.
I pray throughout the day. I know that Jesus is my main help to get all the things done and I need to do. If my mind begins to wander I ask him to help me stay focused on the task at hand.
If I begin to worry of what might happen I ask him to take that worry away. On the days I don’t feel like doing the daily habits, I ask him to help me remember why I practice this habits.
My health and peace are why I workout and eat healthy. My peace is why I trust God because I know in my heart that is where it comes from.
I want you all to think about your daily habits. They can be good or bad habits. Will the path you on get you where you want to be?
I could choose to lay in bed and never pick up a book. I could choose to eat all the junk food I want. I could choose to stay stressed and worried. This habits will not allow me to reach my goals or be the person I want to be.
I encourage you to go into the new year examining your habits. Do you have a goal or several for the new year? If not you should at least have one goal. If you aim at nothing you will hit it every time.
Are you happy where you are right now? I hope you are but if you are not please know only you have the power to change.
I pray you are all blessed and I pray that if you need to change your daily habits you will find the will to do so
